When is the best time to schedule my newborn session?
Your newborn session is best scheduled before your new baby arrives to be sure there is availability and that your precious little baby gets in the studio in the first three weeks of their life. Once I receive your session fee and signed contract, I will then book your due date on my calendar, knowing that your newborn can be born earlier or later than expected. I never book every single day of my week to be sure to get all my newborns on my calendar. Once your baby has arrived, I ask parents to email or call me as soon as possible so we can get your actual newborn photo shoot date scheduled.
Where do all the cute hats, headbands, and rompers come from in your photos?
I supply all the props for your newborn session! I have an enormous amount of newborn hats, headbands, blankets, backgrounds, furs, baskets, crates, etc. Some might actually say I have a bit of a newborn shopping problem! All of my props are specifically made to fit newborns in the first three weeks of life. If you have something personal that you would like to incorporate in your images, such as a family heirloom, please feel free to let me know.
All newborn sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday (with some exceptions to weekends, please inquire in an email) with a start window time of 9:00-10:30 a.m. at my studio.
I will not schedule evening newborn sessions.

When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?
I recommend scheduling your maternity session for between 33 and 36 weeks pregnant – or when your belly is nice and round!
Where will my maternity session be?
Maternity sessions are done outside and are offered one hour prior to sunset (Trust me, your kids can handle it for one night and it is so worth it)! Once we secure a date for your maternity session, I will email over a list of locations that I like to use.
What should I wear to my maternity session?
Dresses are best or something that is very form fitting and shows off the beautiful bump!

If we have to reschedule due to weather, I will do my very best to work with you! If for some reason you cannot make your scheduled appointment, we can reschedule 1 time with no additional fee.
